Basic rituals let a caster boost the impact of a magic skill check out of combat. They each require about 5 minutes and usually the ability to make basic marks on a surface to complete. It is possible to apply multiple basic rituals to the same check. Precision - +2 to check. Expansion - Area or volume affected is doubled. Extension - Duration increased from minutes to hours.
